Research's
Smart Buildings practice focuses on the design,
construction, and maintenance of highly efficient
commercial and residential buildings. Research areas
include energy management systems, automation and
control technologies, energy efficient technologies, and
green building practices including design, materials,
certification programs, and construction technologies.
The practice covers key market opportunities for each
area, including a detailed assessment of key industry
players, emerging business models, and the public policy
and regulatory environment related to smart buildings.
MARMAR
building system
MARMAR is a structural
stay-in-place formwork system to build load bearing
walls. MARMAR is composed filtering grid made of rib
lath (hot galvanized steel) reinforced by vertical cold
formed stud stiffeners. The grids are connected by
screws. Frame of cold formed stud fills with ordinary
concrete or reinforcement concrete or concrete with
building rubble aggregate or concrete of light aggregate
or any material that prevents stud buckling (no buckling
effect). Walls connect by bolts and U shape or L angle.
